ALTERNATIVE HAIRSHOW 1994 - HOLOGRAM
An urgent, pulsing soundtrack, deadpan android models with shimmering crystallised faces, holographic outfits and neon coloured hair. A dystopian future where warrior girls stalked the streets of a decaying metropolis. Overhead searchlights picked out each model in turn, revealing hair in shades of Vermillion red, toxic yellow, dayglo orange, Kool aid green, fluorescent purple and pure white, cut in graphic mohawks or geometrically coutured to the head, all with a plasticised metallic sheen.
